Aug 20, 2009 I used to build aluminum boats, not the thin riveted kind but the heavy welded kind that uses 1/4" and 3/16" aluminum plate. Well now, I just happen to have a bunch of 3/16" thick aluminum sitting around in my back yard getting old and would really like to use that to make the fuselage, partly because it's free and partly because it will look cool.
